Huge Day 3

A sleep in was had by dad & boys whilst mum headed to gym to run off some of the of the fabulous food from last few days. We headed out to sentosa island for the day after another big breakfast at the hotel. Our first destination was universal studios - found to be usual type theme park which the boys loved. Highlights were Jurassic park ride, sound show demo, and stunt show at waterworld. The vote for the best ride of the park was the transformers 4D ride with amazing special effects- 3 out of four of our crew thought it was awesome (the 4th felt queasy for the rest of the day!).
After universal studios we explored sentosa island checked out the merlion, the caught the cablecar back with birdseye view of watercraft and both islands.
No rest on the return to the hotel as we headed back out for the Titanic exhibition at the artscience museum. We were issued with passenger cards upon entry with each card having history of one of the passengers aboard the Titanic. Mum felt a bit left out with 2nd class ticket as the rest of the family were very well to do first class passengers. The exhibition had lots of items recovered from the wreck and replicas of areas onboard so we learnt many things about the tragic journey. At the end of the exhibition we felt fortunate that all the people detailed on our respective passenger cards were amongst the 700 who survived the sinking and not one of the 1500 who perished.
We exited the titanic exhibition and were then treated to a fab laser sound & light show on the harbour, including bubbles, spraying water & smoke special effects. We ended our day with a quick visit to the Ferrari shop, a final night swim at skypark and room service for dinner. Phew!
