Kalbarri Day 92.
On Monday (August 16) we travelled 146km to Kalbarri. After we had travelled to Kalbarri our total km was 9998. After lunch at Kalbarri we went for a ride and found a campspot we found one and it was a beautiful campspot on the beach. We went for a bike ride on the bike trail and on the way to the Red Bluff Brock ran over by accident a snake (a little one). After that we went to the bird place where they breed birds, mainly parrots. In the open enclosure me and Brock got some almond nuts and fed the birds. When I was feeding a bird that was on my arm I noticed there was a bird always going on Brocks head. One of the times a bird flew up on my head and then another one pushed the bird on my head off! They were very colorful birds. After we left we rode back - on the way back to our campsite it was a very windy day.
Geraldton Day 93. On Tuesday we travelled 173km to Geraldton. We then went to the tourist centre and checked out the town. After that we rode our bikes around the caravan park and then it was wet. Then we went back into town and went for a long walk along the town beach and then we ran into Marg & Lou Armstrong in the street. After we had a talk to them we went to the newsagency and Brock and me brought some tiny miniature lego sets. After that we went to a jewellers shop and Brock and me got to hold a 384gram gold nugget. It was worth half a million dollars! We also got to hold some other precious stuff.
Geraldton / Greenhead Day 94. On Wednesday we went the Geraldton Weather Station. It was at the Geralton airport. Gary showed us the controls and instruments that he had and he also showed us a weather ballon and we got to see him launch the weather balloon. In the afternoon we went to the Green head Caravan Park in Green head. We rode our bikes around the Green Head town. We think that it has 300 people in it but in summer it would have lots more. We were expecting to see Sea lions but we didn't. It was too cold to swim at Green Head. When we went for our bike ride around town we didnt see much. At night time we went out and I had a big chicken schnitzel all to myself and I ate it all up.
